Every great story begins with a reason. Ours began with one very special little girl.
In 2021, my daughter Louise welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Edie Lou, into the world.
Like so many parents, we dreamed of creating a nursery that felt calm, beautiful and filled with warmth, somewhere that would become the backdrop to life's very first memories.
As we searched for wallpaper, we realised something was missing.
There were plenty of children's wallpapers available, but very few captured the timeless, elegant feel we were looking for. Much of what we found felt mass produced, overly commercial or lacking the softness and individuality we wanted for such a precious space.
We knew there had to be another way.So instead of settling for what already existed, we decided to create it ourselves.
And that's how Edie Lou Interiors was born.
Built on Experience. Inspired by Family.
After more than 27 years working in the print and design industry, I had always dreamed of creating something that combined beautiful illustration with exceptional craftsmanship.
Together, Louise and I brought our experience, creativity and shared love of interiors together to design a collection of luxury children's wallpapers unlike anything we could find ourselves.
Every design begins with a simple idea before being carefully illustrated, refined and thoughtfully developed into wallpaper that feels timeless, calming and beautifully personal.
Because for us, wallpaper has never simply been about decorating walls.
